    Land of the Sun

    Original Anime Art

    for Pool Party Round 1

    1: ugh pure indigo x_X.
    2: Ctrl +J (duplicate), then Hue/Saturation> decrease Lightness

     

    3: Ctrl+Alt+C (copy merged) then set to Multiply. I forgot the exact opacity.

     

    4: Blue layer set to Color @ 100% Opacity.

     

    5: Yellow layer set to Overlay @ 92% Opacity.

     

    6: Weird greenish-yellow layer set to Overlay @ 100% Opacity.
    7: Dark green and yellow gradient set to Overlay @ 78% Opacity.

     

    8: Light blue, indigo, and some pink for the hair, set to Overlay @ 72% Opacity.

    9: Orange set to Soft Light @ 100% Opacity.

     

    10: Ctrl+Alt+C (Copy Merged) and set to Multiply @ 70% Opacity.

     

    11: Hid the previous Multiply layer, copy-merged, then Hue/Saturation to make it more orange-and-yellow-ish, set to Normal @ 46% Opacity. Unhid the Multiply layer.

     

    12: New layer, colored over the brown coat layer in blue and then set to Color @ 65%.

     

    13: Hid the blue-green Color layer, then shaded under it with brown, set to Multiply @ 54% Opacity. Unhid the blue-green layer.
